Holding on

Your hand holds on to your heart. Sheltered it beats the drums of life.
You feel.
Feel so much of it all. Thunder rumbles in your ears, The rain makes you shiver and gleam. Lightning strikes, excites and incites fear. Fire lights your eyes ablaze, As tears and sweat run in streams. You feel. Vulnerable, shell shocked and broken. A vase just dropped, unglued and forgotten. Alone amongst many faces passing at night, Strolling the streets, shadows contour the light.
Hearing laughter mix with feet on the street,
Makes the day pass by like it’s so easy to be.
You feel.
To be present and accept who you are.
To show love and bring light as your own star.
Carrying on does take some courage.
But who are you if you are not worth it?
See yourself smile and love you like I do.
Be honest, caring and strive to be your own idol.
See all the love run vibrant through peoples faces. Accept that there’s pain, dark and troubling days. We are not alone with the burdens we carry. Some need more help, some don’t need any. But what connects us humans and makes us the same Is that we are all different in holding on to our shame. You feel. The warm touch of your fingers as they leave your chest. Your heart gives you life and you are living it best.
